Riveon Mental Health and Recovery provides comprehensive behavioral health services, including substance abuse treatment, mental health care, crisis intervention, and more. Our mission is to foster hope, healing, and a supportive community through accessible, integrated care that addresses mental, emotional, and physical health needs.
PSYCHIATRIC SERVICES
During your journey in recovery, it may become evident that your thinking, mood and behavior were influenced by more than just your substance use. Riveon Mental Health program starts with a formal Psychological assessment by appropriately licensed staff to diagnose and assess the individual needs of our clients seeking Mental Health Care. A personal fully credentialed Mental Health Counselor is assigned to work with each client in achieving their independent goals. If counseling alone is insufficient, medication may become necessary. As part of our comprehensive approach, our team is staffed with Board Certified Psychiatry providers to assist with your journey.
AMBULATORY DETOX
This is an outpatient service that assists customers through a safe and medically monitored process of withdrawal from opiates. Medications are provided to ease the distress of physical withdrawal with concurrent immediate placement in the appropriate level of care.
MEDICALLY ASSISTED TREATMENT (MAT)
While addiction lies on a spectrum of severity, so does recovery. In severe cases, medication to assist in the early part of recovery may be necessary. Riveon’s team of board certified Addiction Medicine Specialists provide FDA approved medications to assist in sustained abstinence on a “Lowest Effective Dose” strategy enabling our customers to achieve complete independence. There are many types of medical interventions to assist with cravings from arising from Opiates, Alcohol, Stimulants, Marijuana and Nicotine. You and Provider can privately discuss what treatment may be right for you.
COMPREHENSIVE PHYSICAL EXAMS
Clients are provided with a thorough physical exam including a complete medical work-up and screening evaluating concerns especially important to those struggling with Addiction. Any medical issues arising will be treated and managed while you are in the most intensive stage of treatment and transferred to your Primary Care Provider once your schedule allows. If you are not established with a PCP in the community, we will be happy to help you get connected.
MEDICATION MANAGEMENT
Once engaged in treatment, Our team of medical professionals will ensure that your ongoing medical needs are met, chronic medical conditions are stable and any arising urgent care needs are met promptly to prevent any interruption in your treatment plan. Each member of our medical team is licensed to provide general medical care by the Ohio Medical Board as well as the Ohio Board of Pharmacy. In some cases there may be medications prescribed which may interfere with your treatment. In such cases, a team member will discuss and provide appropriate alternatives with you.
RECOVERY FROM THE BIO-PSYCHO-SOCIAL CONDITION
The American Society of Addiction Medicine defines substance use disorders as a Bio-Psycho-Social disease. In keeping with a holistic approach to recovery and ensuring the very best possible outcome in all these domains, client is offered board certified specialized care with Internal Medicine, Addiction Medicine and Psychiatry providers who approach this domain with compassion, care and understanding.
Critical for the safety of our clients, the biological domain is addressed accommodating safe and comfortable withdrawal from mood altering substances, Mental Health needs addressed and Chronic medical conditions stabilized prior to beginning treatment. Additionally, Our staff of Board Certified medical practitioners will ensure all ongoing chronic medical needs are met during the most intensive stage of treatment.
