SUD RESIDENTIAL SERVICES (For women only)

The Key is our residential facility located in Lorain which provides a supportive and caring environment for women and their children (ages 0–4) as they work to regain control of their lives. The Key operates 24 hours a day, 7 days per week accepting intake calls after hours. The Key also offers outpatient treatment services, helping women recover from substance use disorders utilizing research-based models of care and a 12-step recovery process. The length of treatment is based on how quickly each individual stabilizes and develops the recovery skills needed to ensure lasting success.

Riveon provides specialized services for pregnant women who are struggling with a substance use disorder or in their first year after giving birth. This program not only addresses the special needs of the mom but also the needs of the baby. These wrap-around services include a designated case manager, a child development specialist, and a family therapist.

Our Service Programs are tailored to meet the needs of each individual, focused on solutions, support and results.

Our Services

CHILDCARE

We understand that childcare can be a barrier for women to be able to engage in treatment. The Key offers childcare to both our residential and outpatient customers while they are in the treatment groups. Age appropriate, skill-building activities are utilized as part of the childcare programming.

DAY TREATMENT

The goal of Riveon’s Day Treatment Program is to help our customers develop the support, skills and tools that will allow them to remain abstinent and recover from this chronic, progressive and fatal disease. This will require that individuals use these skills and take responsibility to manage their recovery. Groups are conducted 5 days per week with additional family and individual therapy sessions.

INTENSIVE OUTPATIENT PROGRAM

Our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is a comprehensive treatment approach for men which includes an initial evaluation, educational groups, group therapy as well as individual and family therapy sessions and 12-step support groups. Our goal is to help men develop skills and tools that will lead them to recovery and overall wellness. Groups are conducted 3 days per week for 3 hours.

LOW INTENSITY TREATMENT (CO-ED)

Our Low Intensity Treatment is designed for men experiencing early-stage alcohol, drug or tobacco problems. The treatment includes participation in education groups for approximately 6 to 12 sessions. Individualized Counseling & Family Education is also available. These sessions assist individuals and their loved ones in determining the most appropriate next steps for recovery.

MEDICAL SERVICES—AMBULATORY DETOX

The Ambulatory Detox Program was created as a result of the overwhelming need for those suffering from opiate addiction and the limited availability of detox beds. Ambulatory Detox is an outpatient service that assists individuals through a safe, medically monitored withdrawal from opiates. It includes a complete medical evaluation, medications to ease the distress of physical withdrawal, and immediate placement in the appropriate level of rehabilitation.

MEDICATION ASSISTED TREATMENT (MAT)

Riveon provides Medication Assisted Treatment to individuals struggling to recover from addiction. Services are provided through a Riveon physician who is licensed in addiction medicine. Medication assistance may include Suboxone, Vivitrol, or Naltrexone. Customers must meet eligibility criteria and must be participating in primary treatment.

FAMILY PROGRAMMING

Riveon Family Programming is offered as an open-ended educational support group. It is designed and conducted primarily for parents, spouses and other family members who are concerned about a loved one’s harmful use of alcohol or other drugs. This program is also open, free of charge, to any individuals within the community that may have a loved one struggling with addiction.

AFTERCARE

The last phase of an individual’s recovery is our Aftercare program. This program provides a strong support network for the individual until they can successfully maintain recovery on their own.

PEER SUPPORT

Our peer support specialists assist customers by acting as a mentor and providing support functions throughout the recovery process.

TRANSPORTATION

Transportation can also be a barrier to treatment engagement. We offer transportation to most of our outpatient customers; as well as to our residential women while they are residing at The Key.
